Installation
Unfinished and prefinished solid hardwood flooring is nailed to a wood subfloor. Solid hardwood boards cannot be installed over concrete, which always contains moisture. Also, boards usually have a click and lock design that allows them to be connected to form a floating floor with no attachment to the subfloor necessary. Composition
