Founded by Jim Meng
While our companies may be relatively new by name, Mississippi Pro is backed by 50 years of construction experience. Jim Meng, our founder, has devoted his entire career to the residential and commercial construction industry. In his early days, he always had a knack for building and architecture — and knew that was where his path would take him.
In 1976, he took his first step in entrepreneurship with Meng Plumbing and Air Conditioning. By the time he sold the company in 1996, it had 40 employees and over $4 million in yearly revenue. He was then offered a Vice President role with Scenic Homes in 1996, and under his leadership their housing sales grew from 25 to 1,474 homes annually. By 2006, the company was doing $272 million in revenue and was ranked #54 in the nation (#4 in Atlanta).
He founded InVision Construction, LLC in 2010 with the goal of bringing clients' visions to reality while providing the highest level of service and professionalism. Over 13 years and 1,300 projects later, InVision became known as one of the top construction companies in Mississippi — featured in best-selling architectural books and international magazines across the globe.
Capitalizing on that success, Jim started Mississippi Pro Design Center in 2015 — created to be a one-stop shop for all things flooring and remodeling, with a white-glove customer experience. The product lines have expanded into windows, doors, cabinetry, countertops and much more. Most recently, Jim founded Mississippi Pro Roofing in 2022, backed by those same customer-centric principles that have made him a force in the industry for 50 years.

With 8 years of experience, Kossie is one of our most versatile and talented design consultants. Her remarkable ability to manage complex multi-room and multi-property projects while keeping every detail perfectly organized has earned her a reputation as the go-to expert for homeowners tackling large renovations. Her eye for design helps customers make confident decisions they will love for years to come.

With 10 years of experience, David is one of Mississippi Pro's most complete consultants — equally at home helping customers select flooring, navigate a roofing project or plan a construction job. His straightforward, honest approach helps homeowners understand their options across all three of our divisions and make the best decisions for their home and budget. Whether it's new hardwood floors, a roof replacement or a room addition, David brings the same expertise and integrity to every project.

With more than 50 years devoted to the residential and commercial construction industry, Jim has seen and built it all. He spends his time on location at job sites overseeing every aspect of the construction process — scheduling, logistics and quality control. As Jim says, "my real job is to manage the customer experience. Building a home is as much about building trust and relationships as it is about sticks and bricks."

With 5 years of experience in architectural and home design, Savannah specializes in custom house plans — turning each client's vision into detailed floor plans before the first nail is driven. Working hand-in-hand with Mississippi Pro Construction, she makes the design process creative, clear and exciting from day one. If you are planning a new build or major addition, Savannah is your first call.
Mississippi Pro ConstructionJamie brings 35 years of hands-on flooring and tile installation experience to Mississippi Pro. As our Warehouse Manager, he oversees all product receiving, inventory and job-site deliveries — making sure the right materials arrive at the right place at the right time. Jamie also leads our quality control inspections, personally verifying every completed installation meets Mississippi Pro's standards before the job is considered done.
