Stunning countertops in granite, quartz, marble and more. Transform your kitchen or bathroom with a surface that is both beautiful and built to last for decades.
Your countertops are the hardest-working surface in the house and the first thing people notice in a kitchen. At Mississippi Pro Design Center we help Pearl-area homeowners choose the right material for how they actually live — then template, fabricate, and install it so the seams disappear and the fit is perfect.
Ground natural quartz bound with resin. Non-porous, never needs sealing, hugely consistent colors. The most popular choice today.

Best valueMost kitchens come down to these two. Both are excellent; they just ask for different things from you.
| Quartz (engineered) | Granite (natural) | |
|---|---|---|
| Look | Consistent, predictable patterns — what you see is what you get | Unique, one-of-a-kind movement in every slab |
| Sealing | Never — it’s non-porous | Periodically (about once a year) |
| Heat | Use a trivet — resin can scorch | Very heat-tolerant |
| Stains | Highly stain-resistant | Resistant when sealed |
| Best for | Busy families who want low maintenance | Homeowners who want a natural, singular slab |

Quartz — no sealing, shrugs off spills, and stands up to homework, cooking, and everything in between.
Quartz or granite remnants make an affordable, beautiful vanity top that laughs off toothpaste and makeup.
Granite or porcelain — both take sun and weather without fading.
A marble or quartzite section stays cool for rolling dough and pastry.
Make the island the star with a waterfall edge or a bold, contrasting slab.
The little choices are what make a countertop feel custom. Edge profiles range from a clean eased square to a decorative ogee. Undermount sinks mount below the surface for a seamless wipe-down, while a waterfall edge runs the stone straight down the side of an island for a modern, dramatic look. We’ll walk you through cutouts for cooktops, faucets, and soap dispensers so everything lands exactly where you want it.
We fabricate and install slabs from the names you can trust:
Cambria Quartz, MSI Surfaces — deep color lineups with strong warranties.
Granite, marble, and quartzite slabs from MSI Surfaces and our local stone yards.
Every slab and color in our online catalog — if you can picture it, we can likely source it.
After you pick your material, we make a precise template of your cabinets — often with a laser — so the fit is exact. Your slab is then cut and polished in the shop, with seams planned to land in the least-visible spots and sink and cooktop cutouts made to spec. On install day we set, level, and secure the tops, join the seams, and seal them if the material calls for it. Careful templating and professional installation are what separate a countertop that looks built-in from one that looks bolted on.
Every countertop is quoted for your kitchen, not off a chart. It comes down to the material and color you choose, your total square footage and the number of seams, the edge profile, sink and cooktop cutouts, and any removal and plumbing disconnect/reconnect. We template and measure for free and hand you one clear, itemized price.
Neither is “better” — they fit different owners. Choose quartz for a consistent look and zero maintenance (no sealing). Choose granite if you love a natural, one-of-a-kind slab and don’t mind sealing it about once a year. Both are excellent, durable surfaces.
No. Quartz is non-porous, so it never needs sealing — just wipe it with mild soap and water. Natural stones like granite and marble do need periodic sealing.
Most kitchens need at least one seam because slabs come in limited sizes. We plan seams to fall in the least-noticeable spots and color-match the seam filler so they’re easy to miss.
Granite is very heat-tolerant, but we still recommend a trivet. Quartz can scorch or discolor from direct high heat because of its resin, so always use a trivet or hot pad on quartz.
After templating, fabrication typically takes about one to two weeks, and the install itself is usually a single day. We’ll give you the exact timeline for your material when we measure.
Absolutely — vanities are a great place to use a smaller slab or a remnant, which can make a premium material very affordable. Bring your measurements and we’ll show you options.
Yes. We can remove and dispose of your existing tops and handle the plumbing disconnect and reconnect as part of the job — just let us know when we measure.
