LVP is marketed as waterproof — but what does that actually mean for your home? Here’s the honest answer.

“Waterproof plank” doesn’t mean a waterproof installation in a true wet room. In a floating floor, a lot of standing water can still seep through the seams to the subfloor over time. For everyday spills, pet accidents and mopping, LVP is worry-free; for a shower floor, you still want tile with proper waterproofing.
Whole-home installs, kitchens, baths, mudrooms, basements — anywhere you want a wood look without water worry. We carry COREtec, TRUCOR, Shaw and Mohawk. See our LVP page.
